| My novel No Time For Jane is "filmed" in beautiful Girdwood, Alaska, some thirty-odd miles southeast of Anchorage down the coast of the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet (see maps below). As you can see from the photos, Girdwood is a wonderful place, as is most all of Alaska. Although the Devonshire Estate doesn't really exist--or does it?--the Crow Creek Mine does, as does the Alyeska Resort and the Alyeska Prince Hotel. While you're there, ride the tram up Mount Alyeska from the hotel to the Seven Glaciers Restaurant and have a fine dinner. In my book, Lanie Parker is the manager; who knows--you may just run into her, or you might see Jane and Daniel having a cup of coffee in a dark booth. If you find them, I won't be far away. |
