Thank You for visiting "My Heart". I call this site "My Heart" because all of the people
you will meet here are, in fact, my heart. They are my blessings, my gifts and my inspirations.

Continue reading and I will tell you about myself and what makes me, me :) I also hope that
when you are done getting to know me, that you will take the time to meet my children and the
other very important pieces of my heart, and my life. My gifts in life as I like to call them.

Enjoy your trip through the pieces of my heart and may you be blessed through your life as I
have been through mine. All comments are welcome and may be sent to me by clicking on the email
icon at the bottom of the page. Now on to "My Heart".

Hi! My name is Kim. I am a 40 yr old mom to three wonderful blessings. Elizabeth who is 14, Matthew who is11, and Julianne who is 9.

We are living in NC after having moved here in March 1998 from California. Drove the entire way and it was quite an experience, but one I wouldn't trade for the world. I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY so for me coming back to the east coast was like coming home. I think NC is a much better place to raise my kids I think too. Lots of open area and grass for them to run and play in, not the hard concrete that was California.

So, who IS Kim you might be wondering....I'm going to tell you. I am a down to earth, friendly, loving person. I'm not into the frivolous or extravagant. I don't have a lot of money but I am rich in all the ways a person can be. I have been blessed with much love in my life. I have been hurt too, but for me it only proved to make me that much stronger of a person. I have found a deep faith and spirituality that gives me an inner peace and contentment like none I have ever known. I like who I am and I know what I need in my life to keep it as good as it is. I was diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea in Dec 1998. Many people do not even realize what that is, or that it is life threatening if left untreated. Please take the time to read my story about how I was diagnosed with OSA and how it has changed my life. Life is precious and you just never know how long you have in this world before it is time to move on to the next one.

I enjoy reading, cross-stitch, chatting on IRC, AIM and MSN messenger, spending quiet time with my kids, walks in the park, and just being with those I love most in the world. My children and my partner.Keith. And when I get the chance to go home for a visit, my parents and sisters too. I love to meet new people and make new friends. One can never have enough friends in their lives or enough people around who love them.

I work full time as a chat host at Vics Bingo. I love my job and the people I work with, how many people can truly say that working if pure fun! I moved from Raleigh to Charlotte in Novemeber of 1999 so that I could be with Keith all the time. We moved into a house in July 2000 and it's totally awesome! Lots of room for the kids to play and grow. We are a happy family! My days are very busy and I never seem to get enough sleep but it's a small price to pay to be able to take care of my kids.

Well I have rambled on long enough here so I will leave you with these thoughts as you go on to meet the pieces of my heart. Live each day to the fullest. Always treat others with kindness. Always, ALWAYS, treat yourself as you would want others to treat you, be true to yourself. Don't sweat the small stuff, life is too short Be tolerant of differences, we all have something we can teach to each other. Always be responsible for your own actions and take life one day at at time. God Bless you and enjoy meeting the pieces of my heart :)
