He takes a deep breath
And lifts his arms to the Heavens
In Prayer,
His heart and commitment
Are something so rare!

He paints his face
With red and black paint,
His armour and weapons
Are those of a Great Saint!

He prays to the Great Spirit
For life or for death,
To protect his village,
His children, his land,
For his future is unknown
And his brothers lives
Are in his hands!

If he falls in his battle
At least he will know,
That he died with his honor,
An Eagle feather in his hair,
Be certain this will show!!

It is said that
He murdered, raped and pillaged,
But he sacrifices his life
For the survival of
The Children,
The Elders,
And his Village!!!
