~Gemstone Necklaces~

THE WORKS

Thank you for coming. Pull up a chair and take a look at what I have to offer. These designs are all made by myself, the individual wraps that hold gemstone to chain to pendant to toggle are done under 8 times magnification. The silver is just a means to display the beauty of gemstones, be they in bead, cabochon, facet or rough form.

All prices include shipping and insurance, and I even pay the taxes out of the list price.

About the Artist

Judi Hojnacki calls the Northern Coast of California home. She traded blizzards, tornados, and summer heat index of 120* for the constant spring-time temperate weather, Giant Sequoias and the neverending coast of Eureka, Ca.
Her love of stones and nature led her to an interest in things natural, and the strength that can be derived from such things.
When she came to Ca., she was looking for change. She got a little more than she bargined for.

While on the job, she ruptured 4 discs in her cervical spine. The injury caused disability, and Judi needed to find new ways to keep herself occupied. She began making jewelry for herself. Bead stores were a thing of great beauty to Judi, such things were not to be found where she hailed from.

Well, she would make these little necklaces, and soon her friends were asking if she could make a necklace for them. Thus began her new career. As she went, she began teaching herself how to solder silver to make pendants.

Her love to of stones started her collecting gemstones. She has aquired many rare and exotics, such as Alexandrite & Tanzanite. Lately she is collecting her favorite family of gems, Garnets. Her favorite is the Spessartite, Demantiod and Tvsorite.

When she buys a gemstone, she will also go find beads made of the same gemstone material to for the peice she intends the gemstone to someday be.

Please stay tuned for these pieces.
