My mom bought me this last Christmas kind of as a joke because we used to make fun of the infomercial together throughout the past few years. I have to say that I really do like it, the way the people prepare the foods in the infomercial are for the most part totally fake. If you want to make chunky salsa you're going to have to improvise. Once you learn how to use it for your needs though it's great! It's easy to use, hasn't given me any problems, and even smashes very solid pieces of ice thanks to my ridiculous freezer. Now onto the bad. I don't think it's going to last that long. Every time I make something, no matter how long the thing is on, it will emit a smell like the motor is burning out. It may never die but I won't be surprised if it does. Also, the foods will sometimes stack on top of each other and will just sit there. When I make salsa every time I have to shake the crap out of the blender in order to get the foods farther up in the container to go down into the blades. Overall it's a good product, but if the motor ever goes out, I'll probably get a normal blender. The only advantage of this product is the small containers for easier cleaning in the sink. If you don't have the problem with your roommates or kids piling up dishes in the sink, don't bother.

Cuisinart offers a surprisingly small but powerful 1500-watt oven with four settings (convection, bake, broil, toast). It has converted butchers, bakers, and maybe even some candlestick makers in terms of making beautiful roasts or delectable pies. Toast and bagels come out four or six slices at a time, unbelievably crisp and at the desired brownness. A built-in timer alerts cooks, and an oven shut-off time saves the forgetful ones. There have been reports that the latter has not always worked, so test this function first (Cuisinart has a three-year limited warranty)

From roasts, to lasagna, to toast. Cuisinart does it all well. The extra large pan allows you to cook a roast, with potatoes around the roast for 4, and although it heats the kitchen a bit, not like a stove. Easy to clean, and I read a review that the door glass gets cloudy, leave open when you are done cooking, may not prevent this but it at least delays it. Mine is still clear as a bell.
