THE ELDAR
Of the
major alien races, the enigmatic eldar are perhaps the most similar to humans
in physical terms. Standing taller than the average human, the Eldar are
posessed of a slim, minimal physique and delicate features. They have palid skin
with pointed ears, flowing hair and bright shifty eyes. Unless otherwise
specified Eldar have an ECL of 0 and can be played moderately well alongside
humans.
The majority
of the Eldar race live on great craftworlds. The bulk of these are civillians
denoted Guardians – because in times of war even guardians are taught the art
of combat and are able to defend their home vigilantly. A Guardian who has
received enough tuition eventually must choose a path in life. These special
eldar rules have been provided by Samir Chatrath.
The Dark
Eldar are eldar pirates the live under a pall of fear – though what they fear
precisely is unknown. Perhaps they serve the daemons of chaos, perhaps they
serve some forgotten Eldar god though it has long been suspected they were too
close to the Eye of Terror when it tore open as Slaanesh was born and live in
fear of Him.
Exodites
are Eldar savages that live on young worlds. They survived the fall of the
Eldar and have rejected technology. They live primitively but peacefully.
Little is
known by the Imperium of these strange dancing aliens, save that they travel
nomadically from place to place without a spaceship at all. Instead they walk
through the webway travelling from planet to planet on foot.
