We have been through so much together, it's been over 2 years now and it's better than ever! I can't even tell you how much I love her! I remember the first time I met her, we were at a camp called Lake Ann Babtist Camp, I didn't really like it, but nothing better could have happened. I walked up to her the second day while she was on a bench outside watching her sister playing carpet ball. I came over just looking for someone to talk to, I worked up the courage and sat down next to her waiting for my turn to play carpet ball. I don't exactly remember who talked first, but I felt like there was a connection. The third day came by and I think that is what made me realize, "This girl is something special." As the days went on through that camp I only wanted to hang out with her. It had only been a week, but I felt like this girl meant alot to me, more than anyone before. She invited me to her 15th Birthday at a pizza place a week after camp, that's where I met alot of her friends. I found out she liked frogs! I thought that was interesting. But at this party there was this guy named Anthony, who I found out dated this girl, whom I admired. I sort of felt shut out, as if I didn't have a chance. Less than a month later my birthday came, I invited most of the people from the church I went to the camp with and some other friends. It was very funny because most of them didn't know it was my birthday because I didn't tell them. Thier faces were fun to look at when my mom brought out the birthday cake. But this girl came, and we hung out for awhile. She gave me one of the best presents possible, Mountain Dew. I thought to myself that she did know me. It was that day that I found out that this Anthony, didn't have her heart anymore. I felt sad for him, but also happy for me. Maybe I have a chance with her.... maybe.... Three days later we were talking on the phone late at night, she was in her basement trying to be quiet so she wouldn't wake up her parents. It was about 2 A.M. and we had been talking for awhile and we finally got to the subject about girlfriends and boyfriends. I told her I liked this girl, but I was affraid to tell her. And she told me the same. We agreed that we would both tell each other who we liked, and of course as ussual, the "girl's go first" didn't work, so I had to work up the courage to tell her. It took me a few minutes but i eventually told her that the girl I liked, was her. My heart pounded, I was affriad she wouldn't say the same back, I felt like I had said something, that might ruin my life. And then I heard "I like you too." I smiled and asked her if she could be my girlfriend, and she said yes. We went to alot of "down town alives throughout that month and next month, where we got to know each other more. She invited me to her homecoming dance at her school, I agreed to go. I remember her friends kept interrubting us during our dance, I was getting irritated, but knowning that it wasn't her fault. So I showed no sign of irritation. It was the second slow dance song where we were finally alone, it was bout 2/3 through the dance. I had a cold and I was trying not to cough or get a runny nose. So I had my head over her shoulder and hers over mine... I pulled my head away and looked into her eyes... her the same. And then it happend, the most wonderful thing in the world...
