Welcome to the homepage for Pakuranga College Ultimate!

Ultimate frisbee was introduced to Pakuranga College in 1999 by two teachers, Mr & Mrs Harris, who brought the sport here from the UK, and has been played by students for the last seven years. From 2001 till mid 2004, it was also coached by another teacher, Mr Robertson (Dingle).

Then from 2004 onwards, the sport has been coached by past Pakuranga students and squads are now made up of mixed Highschool and University students.

Pakuranga's goals include:

  • Keeping the sport alive and strong within the school.
  • Entering teams in both competitive and social tournaments.
  • Promoting Ultimate Frisbee in other schools.
  • Developing competitive teams while emphasising the importants of "The Spirit of the Game".
  • Having fun!
