| These pictures came out brighter on this side photographically speaking, but I dont know why. | |||||||||||||||
| Number 7 This is the beginning of the English village. I screwed up here bad. I like them ok, I just made them too big, and it is now causing me problems. Youll see as we move along. | |||||||||||||||
| Number 8 Here is one of the busiest sections. Youve got your garden in the upper left with a scarecrow, two cats on the rock wall at the bottom left, a well in the middle, and a couple of bunnies at the bottom right. There are even a few birds in the sky in the upper right but they are faint. The little cottage over the hill on the right is my attempt to get the scale back where it needed to be for the next scene I wanted to do. | |||||||||||||||
| Number 9 The little cottage over the hill is the transition from the English village to a New England setting. The bridge on the right carries you to Maine. Hey, Im already sounding artsy! As I move to the right to get the scene I want I have to scale the buildings down, and here is where the big cottages are causing me grief. | |||||||||||||||
| Number 10 Across the bridge and you are in Maine. The flowers covering the hill and valley are Lupines. You cant tell by this photograph though, but thats ok, you cant tell when you are on my screened porch looking at them either. Lupines are hard to paint. This scene comes from one of Abbys books. The book is about Lupines. I wish it had been about daises. I can do daises. I have drawn the town for my New England coastal village, but I havent painted but the one building above. Ill add more photos as I finish painting them. Im still thinking about a dinosaur or two on the right side, with maybe a poo bear. I also plan to add more people and animals to the past scenes too. So, what do you think? skip |
