TO ALL THE...
Musicians,
Children,
Co-workers,
Parents,
and Cindy.....

Everytime you see a shooting STAR
let it be a reminder of
KEN'S smile
because to all of us
KEN is a STAR

The above was taken from a thank you card created by Ken's father

In loving memory of Ken Alcombrack

Ken had two passions in life… fishing and music. He requested this song be played at his Memorial Service.

Freebird

If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be traveling on, now,
Cause there’s too many places I’ve got to see.
But, if I stayed here with you, girl,
Things just couldn’t be the same.
‘Cause I’m as free as a bird now,
And this bird you cannot change.
Lord knows, I can’t change.

Bye, bye, it’s been a sweet love.
Though this feeling I can’t change.
But please don’t take it badly,
‘Cause Lord knows I’m to blame.
But, if I stayed here with you girl,
Things just couldn’t be the same.
‘Cause I’m as free as a bird now,
And this bird you’ll never change.
And this bird you’ll never change.
Lord knows, I can’t change.
Lord help me, I can’t change.

GOD'S LENT CHILD - GOD'S LOAN

I'll lend you for a little time A child of mine God said For you to love the while he lives And mourn for when he's dead.
It may be six or seven years Or forty-two or three But will you, till I call him back Take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you and should his stay be brief You'll have his lovely memories as a solace for your grief.
I cannot promise he will stay since all from earth return But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.
I've looked this whole world over in my search for teachers true And 'from the throngs that crowd life's lane I have chosen you.
Now will you give him all your love nor think the labor vain Nor hate me when I come to take this lent child back again?
I fancied that I heard them say Dear Lord, Thy will be done For all the joys thy child will bring The risk of grief, we'll run.
We will shelter him with tenderness we'll love him while we may And for the happiness we've known forever-grateful stay
But should the angles call for him Much sooner than we've planned We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.
