Why does Time work the way it does?
The Days go by at a seemingly normal pace,
and the Months are so long.
Yet the Years, they fly by in the blink of an eye.
It makes it difficult to keep track of things.
Lily is gone over a Year now,
though I remember it all as though it were yesterday.
I feel as though I have always been with my beloved,
but we do not celebrate our first full Year for another two and a half Months.
I have been on my own now for almost two Years.
Hard to believe, huh?
But it is true.
I have been out of school for about three Years already.
I am going to be 21 Years old soon,
though I can still remember playing 'Barbies' and 'House' like it was just Last Night.
Time is a very strange thing to me.
I am growing older,
yet I have not changed or gone anywhere.
I know where I want to go,
but getting there is taking too much Time,
though I feel as though I have spent no Time even trying to get there.
But now, it is Time to work...
