About Me

This is the page where you will find information about me, Kristin.

- I like to call myself a poet. I've been writing for about seven years now. You can find just about all of my poems on this site.

- I sometimes like to broaden my writing horizons by writing short stories. I've even started a novel, which I havn't worked on in about five years. Eventually I will find these works and put them here.

- I role play alot, both table top and LARPs (Live Action Role Playing). Most of my table top games are run by my friends Ryan, Pippin, or David. One of the main LARPs I do is The Avatar System (aka The Nexus), which is run by a couple of my friends who call their company Double Exposure. The other one is Svaha, which is run by a group of my friends who call their company Wild Gazebo Productions.

- A bunch of my friends and I have started our own company, SYS. We are currently producing our first game, entitled FILTH, which should be out sometime in the not-too-distant future, as well as many other exciting things.

- I also like to sword fight with boffer weapons, which are swords and other assorted weapons made out PVC with foam padding duct taped around the plastic.

- I have recently joined the SCA, where I have met a ton of really awesome people. I belong to The Barony of Settmour Swamp, which is located in the East Kingdom. I am also a member of Clan na Bheithir. My SCAdian name is Finebhar an Bheithir.

- I do a lot of reading. My favorite authors at the moment are Anne Rice and Robert Jordan. My favorite books are:
-The Song of The Lioness quartet by Tamora Pierce,
-The Beauty series by Anne Rice,
-The Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series by Laurel K. Hamilton,
-Bram Stoker's Dracula,
-And The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan (so far I've only read 4.5 of the 10 or so books in the series and I can't put them down).
