Lilly

Oh, my love,
I do not know what to do with her.
She does not want to learn.
She wants to go with Tristan, sir.
Her heart, for him, does burn.

She always wants to stay with us,
With me, with you, with Play.
I tried to help her, all she did was fuss.
My frustration with her grows more each day.

I have tried to teach her all,
At least all that I know.
She does not hear me, she will but fall,
If with Tristan, unlearned, she does go.

She will not eat,
She drinks too much.
She will not be able to stand on her feet,
If she keeps on doing this and such.

When I told her about our baby boys,
She did not even grin.
She holds no joy.
With her, I do not think we can win.

I do not know what to do with Lilly,
I know that she loves us,
But sometimes I want to slap her silly,
And then just scream and cuss.

Love,
Alana
