Whatever your reason for coming, welcome. As a former long-time Enterprise resident and newspaper reporter who wrote many an article on the much-admired (and often maligned) monument, I've got a soft spot for the bug, so I'm sharing the history of the monument on this site. That includes vandalism to the monument, the replica that replaced it and its controversial coverage on an episode of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show."
