| Welcome to my website, and thank you for visiting! My name is Martine Sansoucy and I have been involved with raising & showing German Shepherd dogs with my mother Constance Sansoucy since 1995 and previous to that we owned several show quality Cocker Spaniels. When my mother made the decision to start raising dogs, it was a wonderful and uplifting experience for me since I had been raised around dogs almost my whole life. My dogs have definatly been a huge part of my life, not just the joys and thrills of competing & sometimes winning too, but everyday of my life they are there and unconditionally loving me. My mother and I care passionately for the German Shepherd breed and our goal is and has always been to raise for the betterment, and with quality & quantity control. I now have three children of my own, all boys, of whom I am excited about sharing my love for animals with. I am so excited about learning & growing with them, and I hope that all of them will grow up loving animals the way that I have for all of my life. Of course, I am hopeful that at least one of them will let me teach them how to show! :-) My handling has been put on hold for the next couple of years until my children are of school age, and this has really forced me to step back and look at what I want out of showing & raising dogs. I have definatly learned a lot about the do's and dont's of the breeding & showing world by watching others and through my own experiences, and am always learning more and excited to be! I am still very passionate about the sport, and hope that I will be welcomed back when I decide it's time for me to start showing on a more regular basis. There are definatly lifelong friends to be made in the dog world, this I have also learned in the last couple of years, and that is one thing that makes this sport worth everything & more to me. Sincerely, Martine Sansoucy [email protected] |
