1-21-01

I've started working on my comic book. I've been drawing sketches of the characters I might have in it.

1-22-01
I've been working a lot on my webpage and have added a few links to pages.

1-24-01
I've got some new pages all set up. I probably won't get too much on them until after a little while though.

1-25-01
The background is all set up and matches the art and buttons. I've been looking for a book to teach me to use Photoshop. Also, I'm looking for a guestbook and some kind of thing to tell me how many people have visited my site.

1-26-01
I created a little cartoon recreation of myself! Oh, and I discovered a book that's I'm going to order that will teach me how to use Adobe Photoshop 5.0

1-27-01
I've been sketching a few little designs of the guys I will have in my comic. I think they are coming along nicely.

1-28-01
Today I read through a lot of the Photoshop Tutorials on the net. I've learned things like: How to create different styles of text (fiery, metallic, wooden, etc...) and How to create buttons that can be used on your wepage.

1-29-01
I sketched out a REALLY cool character! I'm really excited because it totally gave me an idea for the comic. I can't really tell you too much, but I CAN say that the title will be, "What A Day For A Daydream."

2-3-01
We finally got the Photoshop book. It's really cool. I've been working on trying to draw up some backgrounds for the comic book.

2-5-01
I've started reading the Photoshop book. It's great! I've already learned a few cool new things about the color palette and the seperate windows. I'll probably get past the 1st chapter pretty soon. Hey, don't laugh, these chapters are BIG.

2-8-01
I've drawn a few sketches and have been working on the storyboard. I drew the "base" for the "bad guy" in the comic. It looks pretty cool. It's a satelite.

2-12-01
Reading in the Photoshop book.

2-14-01
Reading in the Photoshop book.

2-20-01
Reading in the Photoshop book.

2-22-01
I've drawn some backgrounds for the comic. They look pretty cool and should go well in the book.

2-26-01
Reading in the Photoshop book.

3-1-01
I installed the new version of Photoshop and got it all up and running. I've also added the pictures and tutorials found in the Photoshop book to the computer and got that set up.

3-5-01
I got the first page of the comic done! I'm really excited about it. I'll try to get it uploaded on here so that you can see what it's like so far.

3-8-01
The first page is scanned into the computer but i've been having trouble tryint to color it. I'm going to talk to a guy that works at my dad's office about how he thinks I should color it on Photoshop.

3-12-01
I got the second and third pages done for the comic and scanned them into the computer.

3-13-01
I completed another page for the comic, scanned it in, and started coloring it to see if it will work. The guy at my dad's office told me it wouldn't work because my scanner would scan it in as a Bitmap file and it would be too hard to color, but the program I have scanned it as a JPG so it should work.

3-19-01
I read more in the Photoshop book.

3-21-01
I read more in the Photoshop book.

3-27-01
I got the pages on the webpage so people can look at them.

3-30-01
I read more in the Photoshop book.

4-3-01
I read more in the Photoshop book.

4-5-01

4-9-01
I've been doing a lot of reading in the Photoshop book lately. It's helped me understand the way that Photoshop works. I think that all this knowledge will help me in the future since I plan on taking Graphic Design in college.

4-10-01
I read more in the Photoshop book.

4-18-01
I've been writing down on paper how I'd like to set up the webpage so people can see my comic on it. I'm going to be setting up blank pages soon.

4-19-01
I read more in the Photoshop book.

4-24-01
I read more in the Photoshop book.

4-26-01
I read more in the Photoshop book.

5-1-01
Ok, the blank pages for my comic are done now. I've linked it all up. I had to create a new account just for the comic because i'm worried that the graphic page files are going to be really large.

5-3-01
I've been starting to work on the cover for the comic.

5-8-01
I've read more in the Photoshop book.

5-9-01
The cover is done. Now all I need to do is copy it onto blank white paper and scan it on.

5-31-01
Here's A Link To the Comic. The Cover is done and you can take a look at it.
