Welcome. Come in and think about the BIG PICTURE for awhile. You are not alone. We all have unanswered questions. We are simply a group of atheists, freethinkers, rationalists, agnostics, skeptics, scientists, humanists, archaeologists, techies, gurus, teachers, lawyers, doctors, Indian chiefs, shamen, realists or whatever you'd like to call us (actually, we're just concerned human beings) that prefer the camaraderie of like minded freethinking people. Whether you're an Atheist or you believe in spirits and gods we know that you will find something interesting on these pages. Although we're still evolving I think you'll find this site enriching.

YOU can make a difference in THIS world by "spreading the word" of this site. Our young people must have a choice to insure that future generations will have a place to live. We're raising funds to help feed and educate the needy and to continue promoting this site so that we can "get our message out" to as many people as possible. The only income we have for this site is by selling advertising and receiving donations. We are a "non-prophet" site and are seeking that status for our soon to be operational sister site, Atheistsonline.org. The funds are used to buy and distribute food AND educational material for the less fortunate people of the world. There's no need to stick a bible up someone's bum just to help him eat. We promote this huge task by purchasing various media advertising and promoting this site. We feel that this site will soon be one of the most talked about spots on the web. Publicity on the order of talk shows, print media, the net and direct mail are all options and will make this site one of the most popular places on the Internet. |

"Commerce makes friends, religion makes enemies; the one enriches, and the other impoverishes; the one thrives best where the truth is told, the other where falsehoods are believed."

"The church says the earth is flat, but I know that it is round, for I have seen the shadow of the moon, and I have more faith in a shadow than in the church". Author uncertain"[My] deep religiosity... found an abrupt ending at the age of twelve, through the reading of popular scientific books." (as quoted in Einstein, History, and Other Passions, p. 172) ...it is a telling fact that, the world over, the vast majority of children follow the religion of their
parents rather than any of the other available religions.click here for

The Meaning of Life
"All religions are founded on the fear of the many and the cleverness of the few."
Marie Henri Beyle (1783-1842)
"My conclusion is that there is no reason to
believe any of the dogmas of traditional
theology and, further, that there is no
reason to wish that they were true. Man,
in so far as he is not subject to natural
forces, is free to work out his own destiny.
The responsibility is his, and so is the opportunity."
-- Bertrand Russell (1872-1970),
"Is There a God?" (1952)
