| Reflection: I was able to use the television in my classroom to watch "The Morning Show." Mr. Harrison also purchased a laptop computer at the begining of my teaching experience that came in very helpful. While this was an amazing tool, it was not useful to show the entire class something at the same time. So, I used a projector to project websites onto the wall. This way I could be in control of the internet, what they say, and where they went; however, the entire class took place in the internet experience. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Reflection: In every lesson I teach, I try an incorporate prints or examples of works other artists have done. If I can not provide a print, I will make an example of what I am looking for. In the Picasso Cubist Self-Portrait lesson, I had a print, a book, and an example to show the students. I wanted to make sure they saw exactly what I was talking about when I discribed Cubism and the different facial views. Incorporating prints and printed media into lessons is also a great way integrate art history into lessons. The third grade Matisse Paper Collage lesson had a good amount of art history with it. I had prints, books, and magazines available for the students to look at. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Reflection: In the last ten weeks, I was able to use a website to read a story to kindergartners about color, give eighth graders an opportunity to research artists on the internet, and use any internet resource to help me teach creatively. One program I would have loved to use in my class is KidPix. KidPix is an amazing computer art program geared towards elementary and middle school ages. It teaches basic computer use, graphic design use, and many other visual arts principles. I think the older students would have also likes to use Adobe Photoshop to create their Common Object works. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
