Battlefield 1942 -- PC
For years now, games like Counterstrike, Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament have dominated the team-based online action game genre.
Quake 3 has a been favourite by those who like fast and furious fragging action and those who like slower-paced tactical gameplay prefer Counter-Strike.
What do you get when you combine the two? Something like Battlefield 1942.
With 16 maps in four theatres of World War 2, the game has a lot of variety to offer. While the singleplayer does'nt offer enough the multiplayer option more than makes up for it.
