Boards:
Getting a board for beginners is a real tough choice. You either can get a fake board (recommended) or a real board(so you can brag to your homies). For fake boards I would suggest Oxygen or Rage since you tend to wreck your board a little.If you want a real board we urge you to get really really cheap ones.(Maples are good.)
Bearings
So you want good bearings eh.Well if you have/want a fake board then you should get something like ABEC 1-3, if you get more like ABEC 4-9 your skateboard will go fast which is hard to learn when you are a beginner.
Trucks:
If you want good trucks you should use the trucks you get with the board.You can't buy fake trucks seperately.
Wheels:
If you want good wheels again I would say fake but if you are a big supporter on spendin' a lotta' money then you should get Darkstars or Spitfire wheels.
Intermediate/Advanced Boarders
Boards:
OK our advice to you is Blind,Dynasty,Element,Hook-Ups,Birdhouse,Maple,and The Firm. Don't get Shortys cuz' they chip too easily and are a waste of money!
Trucks:
Trucks are a really important part of your board.The best trucks on the market these days are Thunder,Awake Venture,and Destructo trucks.
Bearings:
The best bearings are ABEC 9,8,7 and Lucky bearings.Black Panthers are also good. Bearings depend on how fast you want your board to go.
Risers:
Risers help your wheels by not bashing them onto the board when you turn sharply. The best Risers are medium-sized.
Wheels:
Some wheels are very good like Darkstars and Spitfire.They are good brands.They can roll over different terrains.Darkstars are upgrade wheels so they cost slightly more. So overall, Darkstars and Spitfires are the best!!!!!!!!!!!
