NEWS!!!

Hey all. Great news! We're in S.P.A.C.! YEah!!! Also, we snagged ourselves a trumpet player. The man known only as Dan Graham. Great kid, great musician. Also, we've got some new songs out and about and we're thinking of possibly recording sometime soon. And on a final note, we're in the process of changing our band name, it just wasn't doing it for us. Well that's it for now!

Hey all! Well sorry for not updating in awhile. I've been busy, with work and what not(not like anyone reads this any ways). But we do have some good news! We played our first show at pat "the action cop"'s b-day party last weekend, and it went over great! We already have a fan or two or three. As a matter of fact someone alredy wants to buy or cd! But for all you other fans out there, no dice. It probablyly won't happen for another couple of months anyways. Well, we will hopefully be playing S.P.A.C. at my school in December, but keep checking for shows!

Heyyyy one and all! Well we have some good news! We're gonna practice tomorrow! It's been 3 months, at least. But we've been writing some stuff so it shud be good. And if we practice enough hopefully we'll be able to play a show before the summer is over! And sorry about the "L.D.W.B. Tour" this summer! We didn't get any practice time at all. But I'm single once again so I'll have more time for the band, thankfully, cuz Matt and Steve are the shit at what they do. I ca't vouch for Kyle and Tom, because Kyle works where I do and has different hours so it's hard to practice w/ him. And Tom doesn't have a trumpet yet. Bill sadly is never getting one, so he and Pat "Action Cop" Savage are our official roadies. So, I'll tell you how it goes, and hopefully we'll work on making a demo soon. Ya know, so the word can get out about our awesomeness. HAHA I'll let you decide on that one.

Well you know what I said bout us soundin' like Catch and Streetlight? Well FUCK IT ALL!!! Just listen to us sometime soon (hopefully). We have our own crazy, mad nasty, sick sound that is all our own! So listen too us sometime!!! We bring SKA to a new level with mad nasty bass lines by the amazing SBS Guitarist known only as Matt Shearer. Almost unheard of drumlines by the half allegianced SA drummer who likes to be called Steve Aliperta, sometimes. Punkish arpegios and crazy powerchordiness that come out of the silent giant who we call Kyle Chaille, because it's his name. The RIPPING "Trumpet section" of Thomas Lally, William "Herb" Marcoullier (possibly our official roady) and hopefully more of a section to come. And finally the the ska-riffing/solo-playing vocalist, who is I, Alex Russell. So get ready for us Ska up your world!!!

Well folks, due to the growing apart of friends, Tim is no longer in The S.K.A. Sorry for all you Tim fans. But We'll still skank it up like no one ever ever saw! So don't worry! Oh, and as for our original sound of the Big D/ Sellouts sound, fuck it. I kinda think we'll sound more like Catch 22(Keasby Nights) and Streetlight Manifesto (which kinda sounds like Catch 22), along with our own interesting spin on it.. More stuff should be up on the site soon. I might actually make anothe one, eventually. And BIOS should be up soon. Well thats it for now.

What's up! Carrie's b-day today! Happy Birthday! Mines on Thursday! Woot! And this weekend, huge S.K.A. practice this weekend! Saturday night and Sunday morning, cuz of my b-day party! We're gonna get lots of shit done! Maybe record our demo... Oh.... we might not have a show this month.... we'll have to play it by ear.... Also, we should be getting some pics of the band and the site should be fully working soon...

Hey. Well, we're doing pretty good, a few practices, 4 or 5. We should hopefully have a quck demo and our first show by mid-March... Well that's it for now.

Ya, so we are kind of your typical happy fun ska/punk band with some psycho and metalliska in the mix. In my opinion we've kind of got a $ellout$ vocal and guitar sound with Steve Foote (Big D) bass lines. As it goes now, we haven't been able to practice w/ our "horn section". But I definitly think we'll sound good in time. We' so far have 2-4 songs, some w/ music and lyrics, others w/ just lyrics or music... But if you are ready for another ska band to be born in this world, be ready for us!!!

Alex
