had dental yesterday. first time seeing my mom's new clinic. like whoa. everything so stylo. but still don't like dentists heh =p

then met nat to go collect canoes. gathered with weiwei josh andy and the teachers at parkway parade mos [surprisingly we didn't get lost! and i am still the smartest haha], ate abit and cabbed to national sailing centre. found someone's lost phone in the cab. then carried the canoes onto the waiting lorry in the rain. weiwei ms ong and i rode in the lorry to kallang. the lorry driver was quite nice. haha. but he thought ms ong was a student HAHA.

we all unloaded the canoes together and went for lunch at golden mile. then took mrt to tanjong pagar with andy josh nat so that andy could hand in his surveys. i wanna work too! we can all work together ya? must remember to check papers tomorrow. haha. had to go for mauritius dialogue session afterwards. andy and josh insisted on being my bodyguards so i led them all over raffles place and got lost quite a few times before i found the place. damn paiseh larh. but thanks guys. and sorry. i owe you guys one. especially josh for waiting for me all the way until interview ended and beyond even though he could have gone home much earlier, big thanks ya =)

dialogue session was a big waste of time. partly cos everyone was late so we ended up watching the bandar aceh video and listening to someone's accounts of her experiences with youth challenge. supposed to start at 7 but only really started at 8+. fortunately me chloe and zihan were present at the first session so we got to have our interview first while the rest, like poor xt, watched the east timor tape.

we sat in some cool room with lots of funky cushions and mr lum asked us why we wanted to go. then he shared his experiences too. i'm beginning to recognise this as the yc way of doing things: watch video, shoot a couple of questions, maybe watch yet another video, and share experiences. haha. mr lum is just like coach the way he talks. so we finished at almost 9. then mr lum went up to talk to the second batch. i had to wait for xt to finish. so i got josh to join us in the room and the 4 of us slacked around on the cushions taking pics of ourselves and talking crap for a whole hour. only managed to leave at 10. like whoa. a whole 3 hours. crazy larh. then chloe xt josh der koon and i all went back by mrt.

today, had water training at kallang. did 1 long lap and many shorter ones. damn tiring. we washed the borrowed canoes and scrubbed off the "outram" written on the decks with the help of sand and magiclean, they're really all ours now! at least until we get our new canoes. ate at taka macs with fifi kellyn shaun andy kelvin nat yashu chloe salt sharlene. then headed to city hall where i walked for about an hour before going for dinner to celebrate my brother's birthday at aquamarine in marina mandarin. really super nice restaurant, the interior is whoaa nice and the buffet spread is pretty good. especially the dessert. haha. whoo fondue rocks =)

gonna study with my babes tomorrow. yay. so fun. and rahh i still needa buy clothes. yups. okayy i'm damn tired gonna hit the pillows see ya tomorrow people!
