"Thank You Sir, May I Have Another"

So here we go again, Josh trying to repeat as Open Champion, but would Micah spoil his plans just as Josh did the previous year, or would and unexpected challenger shut everyone down? Once again, things were the same. Micah playing a little bit Josh playing occasionally, Carl playing most Saturday's, and Greg playing once since the last Open, hey it worked last year. Once again, Micah decided it would be a good idea to play a round just before heading up to Patrick's Point and once again he decided to go play Lighthouse, but this time with Carl since Josh was away at San Diego State. Low and behold, Micah shot an 89 again while Carl shot a respectable score. This left Micah confused, he shot this same score last year at this same course and shot horrible at the Open, would he repeat this as well? Despite this, Micah was again the favorite with Josh close behind. Josh hadn't played as many rounds as the previous years, but he has continuously proved that he doesn't need to play golf night and day to have a chance at victory. As it turns out, it was a repeat performance of the previous year, but the roles were reversed. The 89 Micah shot at Lighthouse wasn't a bad sign, he ended up shooting 93. Carl took the role of Greg from '98 and finished in second place with a very respectable 96, the fourth best score at the Open ever. Josh followed up his championship by taking Micah's place from '98 and finishing third with a score of 101 while Greg brought up the rear one more time shooting a 108. Carl surprised them all, Josh failed to repeat, Greg felt the affects of not playing much in the off-season and Micah regained the title, this time receiving the first McKinleyville Open Championship trophy.
