Our PurposeThe San Jose Community Tennis Association (SJCTA) is a non-profit public service organization. We are dedicated to developing public tennis in our community. Our mission statement is:Developing tennis for recreation and physical fitness - in a fun, relaxed and friendly social environment - for all residents of San Jose. We are providing public players more opportunities to play tennis, meet other players, and improve their skills. Our group is also dedicated to perfoming community service to "give something back" to San Jose using the sport we love. Most importantly – we want everyone to have more tennis fun. We are a member organization of the United States Tennis Association . Our Member-VolunteersVolunteers manage the San Jose Community Tennis Association. We are running this association because we love tennis - and we want to see more public tennis events in our community. Our team includes residents and business persons, teaching professionals, experienced tennis event organizers, professional tennis referees, and more.
