(2007-2008) READING Read and practise new vocabulary from "The Clown Doctor" LANGUAGE PRACTICE - Read and study when to use the "Present Simple" and the "Present Continuous" Practise: exercise 1; exercise 2. - Also read and study why some verbs are not normally used in the continuous form. They are called: State Verbs. Mind: Some of these verbs can be used in the Present Continuous but with a change of meaning. They are called "mixed verbs" - Study how to form the Passive. Practise the passive: exercise 1; exercise 2. Practise: use the the 'active' or 'passive' with "Catching a Plane " (see workbook, ex 10, p.16) Vocabulary practice - Complete sentences using a multi-word verb with "look" (look after/up/out/etc.) (See workbook ex 12, p17) - Use the correct "prefix" (also see exercise 11 in your workbook on p.17) |
