Product Type
The Plastic Link can have your message printed flat, hard plastic items (cards, rulers). Large scale signs, plastic bags or plastic containers are not printed on.
Dimensions
Many of the products are standard business card size for loyalty, membership as well as business cards. However other special sizes (key chains, rulers etc) can be produced. The Plastic Link has access to a wide variety of sizes and shapes. If you have specific size requirements please specify in the quote request.
Thickness
Most products are between 0.010 mil and 0.030 mil.
Stock Color
A wide variety of stock card colors are available.
Print Colors
Standard PMS colors are available. Standard PMS imprint colors are produced at no additional charge. Exact color matches can not be guaranteed. PMS matches are done for white stock and other card colors will affect the color match. If the project requires an exact color match and additional hourly fee will be charged.
Artwork
Artwork should be sent via email, computer disk or camera-ready black and white. If sent via computer disk specific requirements must be made.
Options
Customers can add a signature panel, whole punch and/or mag strip to suit the specific needs.
Personalization
Embossing and thermal printing is available.
Numbering
Four to six digit consecutive hot stamping numbering is available. Embossed and thermal printed numbers are also available. Numbering print colors are available in black, red, white, blue, silver or gold. IMPORTANT: The location needs to be noted on work where numbers are to be printed. Hot stamping and embossing requires a knockout area. Thermal print requires at least a 1/8" margin from all other print.
Quantity
The Plastic Link can produce small orders however a minimum order quantity does exist. For example, a 500 quantity of cards (including Rolodex cards), a 500 quantity of ID Badges and 1000 rulers must be purchased. Please contact The Plastic Link for specific small order information.
Proofs
All jobs require a signed proof approval to begin the work. Proofs are black and white. For an additional fee color proofs can be requested. Four-color process orders are approved with a dye-sub color proof. Note: Be certain to review proper text, position and colors. A signed proof is an acceptance to process order and is a binding contract.
Delivery
Typically delivery time is 10-15 days for smaller jobs and 15-30 (with some up to 6 weeks) for larger jobs. However, all jobs have varying time schedules due to the complexity of the job. Please state specific in house date up front to make required dates. In order for production to begin The Plastic Links needs to be in receipt of a signed proof approval and camera-ready art (if applicable). Most jobs can be a rush order for quicker delivery than 4-6 weeks. Please note that rushes are charged a surcharge.
Payment Terms
First time The Plastic Link customers are required to make a 50% deposit with balance due upon receipt. Long-standing customers may apply to receive a net 30 day payment.
