The names "St. John Ambulance", "St. John Ambulans" and the emblem are protected under the Laws of Malaysia and other laws where St. John Ambulance or the Order of St. John exists. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

St. John Ambulance of Malaysia (SJAM) is one of the most active voluntary organizations in Malaysia. SJAM members carry out first aid and home nursing duties in public events and functions to enable immediate assistance rendered when there is needed.

With over 500 members, SJAM Pontian is encouraging all works of humanity and charity without any distinction as to race, class or creed. Now, SJAM Pontian having many training program like Camping, so our members are not solely in first aid training.

Our members are consist of the following categories:

i) Ambulance / Nursing Adult Members (over 16 years old)

ii) Ambulance/ Nursing Cadet Members (12 ~ 18 years old)

iii) St. John Juniors (8 ~11 years old)
