| Each crew consists of six or seven members. Each member is responsible for conducting research and creating slides on his/her category for the crew's PowerPoint presentation. |
| Part One: Each crew should initially meet to discuss the role each member will take, to agree on the basic set up of the PowerPoint presentation, and to schedule check points with one another. As a result of this meeting, crew members should know the category they are assigned to research and create slides on, presentation specifics (including slide backgrounds, font styles, transistions, etc.), and when the group will discuss progress made. Part Two: Each crew member should spend an ample amount of time preparing his/her research in order to be able to create informative slides. Crew members can find current information through the references listed on the RESOURCE page. Here is some of the information that should be including on the presentation slides: Qualifications: Education requirements Training: Candidate and formal training Necessary additional experience Types of classes Physical requirement Requirements Gear: Spacesuit design and function Types: Descriptions and duties The Job: : Working in space information Hero: Biographical information on a Living in space information prominent astronaut Eating in space information May be alive or deceased Other interesting facts Part Three: Using information collected, crew members should create a set of slides presenting their category. Slides should be organized, easy to read, interesting, and factual. Part Four: Each crew should reconvene to finalize the presentation. At this time, the crew will edit all slides, set animation timing, and check to ensure all criteria was met. Crew members should also prepare to present the PowerPoint to a group of their peers. |
