Saint John Ambulance has been known for and relied upon to provide First Aid services at public events and gatherings throughout Nova Scotia since 1892. In fact, the first Brigade Division organized in Canada was started in
Halifax that very year.
Our brigade - Well trained and always there. We provide hundreds of hours of public volunteer service at both large and small public events & in times of disaster. Our cadet program provides a well rounded program of personal development for youth. Saint John Ambulance has a total of 15 brigade divisions providing first aid and emergency & disaster response services to a number of communities in the area they serve. They are:
