On 11 September 2001, the United States was attacked by the terrorist forces of Al-Qaeda, under the finance and direction of Osama Bin Laden. Over 5,000 people lost their lives in that attack, and millions now fear for their lives as a result of it. Shown here are some pictures from the days surrounding the attack.
