Urbacon donation a slam dunk

October 17, 2008

Urbacon, a leading firm of construction and project managers, has made the largest single donation to the Moes 4 A Cure fundraiser since the annual event for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation began in 2005.

In a letter received today, Urbacon's Emily Hunter wrote "Urbacon is happy to donate our corporate suite at The Air Canada Centre for the Toronto Raptors vs Orlando Magic NBA game on January 4th, 2009 to help support your cause."  The suite includes 8 tickets with an option to purchase 6 more.  The donation is valued at $1,750.

Moes 4 A Cure would like to thank Cheyenne Kirby at Urbacon for putting forth our cause as one of the potential recipients of the donation.

The item will be added to the M4AC Online Auction under a few different listings that will give website visitors the chance to bid on two seats, four seats, or the full suite as a whole.  The listing that raises the most for the charity will determine the manner in which the tickets to the suite will be distributed.  The auction can be ended at any time by a bidder wishing to pay the fair market value for the entire suite.

The M4AC online auction runs till November 27th with 100% of the proceeds going to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  Current items can be viewed by clicking
