| RBC Asset Management makes $500 donation October 17, 2008 The 2008 edition of the Moes 4 A Cure fundraiser for JDRF received its largest cash donation to date from yet another company in the mutual fund industry. RBC Asset Management became the latest backer of the cause by making a generous donation of $500. The donation was secured through RBC Asset Management's Regional Sales Manager, Joseph Blain, and Inside Sales Manager, Andrea Zezelic. The mutual fund industry continues to be a strong JDRF supporter as they participate in diabetes research events such as "The Walk" and "The Ride" every year. Last year, over 300 enthusiastic and high-energy riders from seven mutual funds companies took part in The Ride for Diabetes Research Mutual Fund Challenge held at Nathan Phillips raising a total of $110,000. "We're delighted that the mutual fund industry has taken the cause of juvenile diabetes to heart and has been committed to raising awareness and funds for the Ride for Diabetes Research over the years," said JDRF Canada President and CEO Andrew McKee.
