q       Cash* for purchases at the Camp Olave Trading Post if desired

* Please note that we will be buying a Camp Olave Crest for each of the girls

* Please bring minimal amount of cash, as there is no secured area to keep it

q       Box of your favorite cookies (home made preferred)

Guiders Check List

 

Planning

ü       Planning Sessions with Guiders to establish itinerary for Camp

ü       Prepare grocery list with estimated quantities and cost

ü       Determine estimated cost of camp – travel, lodging, food, badges, etc.

ü       Arrange parent information session

ü       Solicit interest in attending Camp

ü       Solicit prefer mode of transportation – car or bus

ü       Obtain Camp Fees from Parents by specified date3 months before camp date

q       Prepare List of all campers, phone numbers, emerg. Contact, our group name, dates and site location to be given to Camp Caretaker on check in

ü       Provide Parents with camp itinerary and check lists

ü       Ensure fees are paid to camp Olave by May 1st

ü       Determine if pre-booking of camp facilities is available
