| For those who live in countries with Winter, I think the coolest it gets here in Bangkok and on the islands is around 75 F. We had about two weeks of cool temps, but that was the extent of the winter season. But the three months of rain coming in June makes up for it. These long tail boats that you see everywhere is pretty much the main way of getting around, though there are a few speed boats available if you want to go further out. |

| This was one of the islands that had a private resort on it. Rooms were 35,000 baht a night (about $800) Unfortunately, they don't payy me enough to afford that one. On the other side of the beach front is a lagoon, but to get to it you have to climb a rock face about 25 meters. So since I am way out of shape and gettn too old for that, I opted to pass. |

| Not much of a golfer, but it was a fund raising event for our MUN club, which will be traveling to St. Petersburg Russia next month. Golfing in Thailand is pretty nice...they provide cheap caddies that will do everything for you, even hold your beer while you shoot. Round of 18 holes cost about $30. | ||||||||||||||||||||
