Religion....the world's most powerful influence on human behavior. Though I can only speak from my own experience and observations, I must say that Buddhism offers a unique insight into humanity and is relatively unscared in its long history of practice and tradition
One of things that I admire about Buddhism is its total and complete respect for life. Killing is simply not an option, it is not sanctioned by God, or by Buddha. |

Reflection on Buddha
'The absolutely sane man' the world had ever seen. He refused rituals and gods, Atman and Paramatman, but never compromised on reason. His efforts at last led him to experience the Truth and he became Buddha, The Enlightened. The Truth and Knowledge flowed from his every pore as Compassion, in his austerities and tapas, kindness and humility, and suffering and feelings.
