We are having our Teddy Bear Picnic. Students get to bring a teddy bear with them while we snack outside. During this time, children with summer birthdays get their special celebration. Transition quickly and quietly Curriculum News Spelling: No spelling test this week. Math: We are continuing our nineteenth unit in our Trailblazers program. In this unit we are focusing on measurement and mapping. Reading: This week we are combining Social Studies and Reading. We are continuing our Cinderella Around the World Unit. We will be reading different versions of the Cinderella story from various countries. Science: We are continuing our plant unit. Social Studies: We are starting our Cinderella Around the World Unit. We are also focusing on Open Circle this week. Writers Workshop: We are working on adding details to our sentences, and writing stories. |
