Chapter Eight The First Harvest Festival, Part 1 "Crystal and The Garden of Eden" Hello, everyone. It's time for me to continue tales of The Sims of the New World. If you have missed the last stories and don't know what has already happened, no problem. Simply click HERE to go toThe FantaSim Tales Archive.
In the last chapter, I told you the tale of the first Fae romance and the birth of the first Fae child, Blossom. Now it's time for the tale of the Fae's and NeoFae's first encounters with Man in part one and two of "The First Harvest Festival". I've done something a little different with part 1; "Crystal and the Garden of Eden" has been written in traditional Sim family album format and has been teleported to the Exchange. Click HERE to go to The Garden of Eden family album. Yes, Crystal is there, and she is up to no good, as usual. There are many new objects and objects by Lphntschld and Illustrated Sims on this lot, and it has objects from ALL of the Expansion Packs, so be warned any of you who want to download the the lot in it's entireity from the Exchange. This is one of the biggest reasons why I wanted it teleported to the main Exchange. However, all of the new objects and objects by Lphntschld are now available at The FantaSim Tales as individual downloads. I'm still working on editing the lot so that there will be a verion available for non-Unleased players. Also, you'll find the Adam and Eve skins on that same page. If you have yet to read the previous chapter, it can still be found on the pages here beginning below. Otherwise, I should have Part 2 ready for all of you by the middle of November. :-) Sistergirl
The Fae had always been kind to one another, feeling true sisterly affection; and, of course, they loved their mother, the Goddess JyM. But, the special love and bond between a man and a woman, they had no knowledge. So, when the Fae first laid eyes on the males as they walked out of the thicket that first night, they each felt something that was difficult to pinpoint. This feeling was deep in their souls and it made their stomachs uneasy. They felt vulnerable and suddenly lightheaded, unable to speak, staring helplessly at the men. You can just imagine how foreign these new feelings were to the Fae, but you and I know that feeling all too well. We call it "love at first sight." This is the story of Dex and Marigold and how they came to be together, for this was true love at first site. The male Fae, after all, were the least of Crystal's worries. She had to attend to the NeoFae, as we already know. And, she also could not neglect her own children, the Foel, who desperately needed her attention and guidance. Crystal simply believed that the wingless male Fae could pose no real trouble for her, so it really didn't matter what they did. JyM left six mates for the Fae: Dan, Dante, Dillon, Dirk, Dorn, and Dex. Each of them were handsome, honey blond hair over their mouths and around their chin, piercing blue eyes that reflected the sun, and an air of the sensitive souls that JyM bestow upon them. |

Was it Orangey who made this hot drink, or was it Tangerine? Who cares! The male Fae loved all of the extra attention!

First off, Crystal was the only Fae who shook the strange feeling away as soon as she realized that it made her want to giggle. She didn't know what it was, but she didn't like it, and she certainly NEVER giggled. This feeling kept her from thinking straight, and now that JyM was leaving to start her thousand-year punishment and would be unable to communicate with any Fae, Crystal needed her wits fully in tack. So, that first night, Crystal created a comfy area for the men with their own nest adjacent to the main camp, but surrounded by a thick grove of trees to give them privacy. She gave Marigold, Tangerine and Orangey, the weaker of the Fae, orders to care for the men, making sure that they wanted for nothing.

Dex was immediately drawn to Marigold, a sweet, but very shy Fae. The very first morning, when their caregivers came to offer the men fresh clothes and show them where they could prepare for the morning meal, Dex smiled sweetly at Marigold, and she blushed. The others giggled for no reason, swinging their hips a little more seductively than normal, smiling brightly at all of the men simply because they were near. But, Marigold did feel something special for Dex, and this made her blush even more. For the first few days, as the Fae went about their duties of tending to Gaia and completing other task as assigned by Crystal, the males wondered around the camp watching. After all, they were the ones who were to choose a mate, and there were plenty of women to choose from. Yep, each male felt very lucky that they had two and half females to woo, so there was no reason to rush into anything. They could take their time to decide which woman was the one for them. Dan, Dante, Dirk, Dillon, and Dorn truly enjoyed flirting with almost every Fae all day long. And, Tangerine and Orangey soon began to vie for their attention. They actually began to argue over who would serve, each selecting a special and unusual delicacy to tempt the men's appetite. At night, Tangerine and Orangey made it a habit to place a surprise in the males sleeping nest; perhaps a sweet warm drink with orange blossoms to help them sleep or fresh down feathers in their pillow to make them more comfortable. The females would do ANYTHING to be placed as the favorite and perhaps win the full attention of one of the males.
And the men really didn't have to do anything special to get the women's attention. Whenever a man appeared, every Fae in the vicinity would forget what she was doing, batting her eyes and giggling, smiling so wide that the brilliance of their teeth could blind any mortal. And the Fae didn't know why they were behaving this way, and they really didn't care. The men made them feel wonderful about themselves without having to say one word. Just a wink from a male in the general direction of a female would send her swooning, struggling to catch her breath, glad that it was she that he noticed.
