The reason for the above info. about Pentecost is while we were counting from: 4-12-09 by the Gregorian Calendar, but the 1st. day of the Omer counting 50 days from the 16th. of Nissan or Abib of the Hebrew Calander or God's Calendar to: 5-31-09, and since 5-30-09 was the 7th. day Sabbath service. We also had another back to back Sabbath service had occured on that day of Pentecost which is a day of rest not doing sevile work. And because Walter asked Bill after that Pentecost service but on the comments part about Acts 20:16, Bill referred Walter to the previous vs. But Walter continued to talk to Bill about Pentecost @ his table.

Let us take a closer view @ the word "Rapture" and of its context. But mainly how do the word rapture has to do with the sayings of our Lord Jesus Christ was talking to his disciples whom he had chosen as Luke/O Theophilus was saying, and as he was taken up and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he/their Lord went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, Fr. ....... The only reason that I decided to take heed to the word Rapture is because through my history of life I have been listening to different issues from people about who is in heaven, who is going to heaven, and who are they going to put into heaven, or when they get to heaven. When we see the word trumpet in the Bible, the Hebrew equivalent is "shofar". Shofars are those twisty brown ram's horns that have recently become a quite popular Christian decor. For Christians Jesus is the supreme model of a minister. In His inaugural sermon in the synagogue at Nazareth, Jesus read from the Prophet Isaiah, summarizing the purpose and the many dimensions of His ministry: (Luke 4: 18-19.) Jesus' ministry included teaching, preaching, evangelism, casting out demons, healing, providing for physical needs of people, and counseling. His supreme act of ministry was His obedience to the Father in going to the cross where He gave His life to atone for the sins of the world.
Jesus' ministry did not end with His resurrection from death and acension to the right hand of the Father. Luke introduces his history of the early church by reminding his reader, Theophitus, that in his first volume, he described "all that Jesus began to do and teach until the day He was taken up" : (Acts 1: 1-2 HCSB)
Luke is saying in effect that Jesus continues to do what He was doing. Before He did this as a person; now He is doing these things through His people, the church.
Ministry in Christ's church looks like Jesus' ministry on earth. God the Holy Spirit, Christ's representative in the church gives a variety of roles and gifts to those in the church for the purpose of the ministry. These include preaching, evangelism, teaching, pastoral care, and administration. Three principal Greek words translated "minister" all carry a connotation of service rather than domination. Diakonos: (Mark 10: 43; Eph. 3: 7; 6: 21). In some passages translated "deacon," has the connotation of one who waits on tables. Huperetes: (Luke 1: 2; 1 Cor. 4: 1) originally designated the under-rowers who labored in a ship's belly. Leitourgos: (Rom. 13: 6; 15: 16; Heb. 1:7) was used of a servant of the state or a temple.
