I only learnt Music for 6 months after 12th. I started out by learning
the flute, and then I moved onto Mandolin, Harmonica and Guitar. Although
I am not too good at any of these instruments, I believe I have a creative
side to music composition . A great way to burn time. I have an archive
of more than 100 (mostly incomplete), 1-to-2 minute music pieces. Here
are some of them.(midi)... I will add more in
near future.
Note about midi: .midi or
.mid (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) format is for instrumental
music. Although their sound quality is very good, it can vary depending
on a visitor's sound card. A small MIDI file can provide a long sound
clip. MIDI files cannot be recorded and must be synthesized on a computer.
So if my music sounds like crap, it may be your sound card...! ( hee
hee). Preferred sound card: Creative SB-16 or better (As long as your
computer is not too old, you dont have to worry about the sound card).
I use Windows Media Player (WMP) plugin to play my midis, So in case
you don't have WMP, You can download it
(here)
, it takes only 2 mins. You would need it especially if you are using
Netscape.
if you dont have Windows media player
plugin, download it from here
