A living God can understand the sorrow that you feel.
Let Him hold you in His hand, your broken heart He will heal.
God has love for everyone; that's why He sent His only son
to pay the price for our sin that in the end we would win.
Jesus came to set us free so even in death there is victory.
He will take us by our hand and lead us to the promised land.
When we give our life to Him and it's time to enter in,
Our loved ones who have gone before will be waiting at Heaven's open door.
Standing by their side will be God our Father and our King
You'll see angels and hear them sing praises to our God and King
It will be a glorious day, Jesus will wipe our tears away.
No more sorrow, no more strife, no more pain in this new life.
So take Jesus by the hand and let Him lead you to the promised land
Your loved ones who have gone before will greet you at Heaven's open door.
