Greetings!  I am a teacher at Millennium High School, wherever that is.  I am an avid Civil War relic collector and researcher.  Strangely enough, I teach English, not history; however, you can imagine how much fun I had this year while teaching The Red Badge of Courage!  I live a long, long way from anyplace where Civil War relics can be dug.  As a result, I have been 'forced' to purchase most of my relics, although a few vacation digs with extremely cool people in Virginia and Louisiana have netted me over one hundred relics, including bullets, shell fragments, eagle buttons, knapsack rings, an excellent US bridle boss, and a beauty of an eagle breastplate.  If I lived in the South, I'd be out there fighting the vines, ticks and mosquitos to relic hunt every chance I had!
