Hence, new or current customers can view salon offerings, prices and even memberships for those who are looking for a full solution to wellness.
B. Defense of the Final Product
Each page throughout the website is very similar in aesthetics and do not change much. Once viewers come to the landing page, the other pages are no different with regards to navigation placement and where their eyes go in terms of finding information. For the colors, darker hues were chosen to evoke a sense of relaxation and luxury. The typography was chosen for its readability but also to differentiate headers from content. The website breaks up chunks of text and the text contrasts with the background so as not to strain the eyes.
C. Opportunities for Improvement and Growth
This website would be greatly enhanced if there was an online booking system. Calling the salon may be an extra step for some potential customers who would rather just view a calendar, take a look at availability, choose their therapist and then with a couple of clicks be able to schedule an appointment at their convenience. Other content that could be good for a truly immersive experience is to include wellness articles relevant to the service offerings. Another great tool would be giving customers capabilities to leave a review for others.
