The story of Viewtiful Joe starts with the main character who is pretty much just a average (Forgive the pun) every day Joe. Joe is a movie buff who one day get's sucked into his own celluloid world. He soon discovers this is a world he's created even with a hero he made called "Captain Blue". Before you know it Joe's girlfriend has been kidnapped (Isn't it always the woman). This leads to Joe discovering that he's the hero of this little story of his and he chases down the bad guys (D.J. Boy style)
Viewtiful Joe looks and sounds like it's a hybrid Mario on crack/megaman. At this point you think Capcom would let these type of games go and try to work on a new type of game. In a way this game reminds me of Megaman. Even down to Joe who looks remarkably \ like the blue bomber himself(Even the helmet). Don't let this chase you away though this is the kind of game Capcom does best.
The real question is "Can Tecmo make this game run as well as the last one on the Playstations less substantial system?" This should be on every gamers mind. Sadly enough most gamers havent given Fatal Frame the respect it deserves or for that matter even heard of this ground breaking game. Real gamer will be glad to hear that Tecmo's fright fest will be returning in the fall.
If you never got a chance to play the first Fatal Frame then I suggest you give Fatal Frame II a chance. I guarentee that you will enjoy it. Also if you have any way of trying the origional Fatal Frame for Microsoft's Xbox console give it a go and experience the best survival horror game the Xbox has to offer.
