Prostitution is prevalent in Historic Northeast Kansas City. By admission, East Patrol has no immediate plans for eradicating this. The excuse used by officers is that judges let them out right away. So.....if you need a girl....Northeast Kansas City is the place to find one. They frequent Independence Ave at Gladstone, Indiana, Benton, ad infinitum. These girls can be found most hours of the day. In the meantime, city cleanup efforts are left to individual property owners who have to endure many nasty letters to city officials, phone calls to City Action Center falling on deaf ears, and an East Patrol Commander who swears its the residents of Northeast Kansas City who are responsible for this and not East Patrol. In short, we are force fed sub-standard city services without recourse. HMMMMMM? |
