Sinkatan-Arnis Estrella History
Arnis is the traditional Fighting art of the Philippines.

Sinkatan-Arnis Estrella is the style of
Grandmaster Mauricio Fabia of Pangasinang. An exceptional bastonero, he was well known and respected amongst the Arnis practitioners and was a training partner of  legendary Bastonero Santiago Toledo.

GM Fabia only taught a few members of his family the art he had refined, among them, his son
Saturnino Quinto Fabia and his Grandson Bernardo Fabia Salinas.

Upon his passing, the inheritance of the system passed to
Ama Maestro Saturnino Quinto Fabia - who remained in the Philippines.

Bernardo Fabia Salinas emigrated to Canada in 1974. Every two years, he returned faithfully to his hometown in the Philippines to train and explore his family's system.

In 2002, in a letter written in his own hand,
Ama Saturnino passed inheritance of the system to Ama Maestro Bernardo Fabia Salinas.

Ama Maestro Salinas has certified 3 people to teach his family's art  - Jerrick Salinas, Miguel Zuccollo and Doug Klinger. They are all direct students of Ama Maestro Salinas.
