Instructor
Guro/Sifu Doug Klinger has trained in the martial arts and fighting disciplines for over 12 years. He has been fortunate to train with some of the most respected instructors  and continues to upgrade his skills on a regular basis.

Guro Klinger is one of three people certified to teach the family system of his "Father" Ama Maestro Bernardo Fabia Salinas (Sinkatan-Arnis Estrella). In his study of the Filipino Arts, he has also had the privelege of training with respected Masters and Grandmasters from over a dozen styles.

His studies into Bruce Lee's arts led him to train directly with two of Bruce's top students. He was further exposed to 20 of Bruce's original student's teachings through the now-defunct "Bruce Lee Educational Foundation". His knowledge of Bruce Lee has been used for several books and magazine articles.

Sought out as a practical and engaging instructor, he has travelled and taught throughout North America.

Doug supports local events/friends in the Vancouver area, such as his good friend, Master Bill Thurston (Balintawak Arnis/Kyusho Jitsu), and acts as director of the Filipino Stickfighting division at the annual Western Canadian Martial Arts Championships.

A multiple Hall of Fame inductee, Klinger was inducted into the SFMA Hall of Fame as 2005's "Instructor of the Year" and "Founder's Award" in which he was recognized for founding his own style.
