Enroute to LA

Although our original intention was to stay in Seattle for 3 days, after some discussion amongst ourselves, and an intense curiousity (on my part and Carol's part) to visit LA, we decided to depart Seattle and head southwards.

Day In Brief:	Mann's Chinese Theatre & Walk of Fame
�	Karaoke in Pasadena

We reached Hollywood, LA in the early afternoon, after much intensive driving (especially on the part of the guys, since they were the only ones driving!). Like any typical tourists, we headed for some of the attractions that Hollywood was famous for such as Mann's Chinese Theatre and the Walk of Fame.
Come to think of it, one point that I would really want to point out is that, it takes patience and tactic cum speed to take photos at such touristy spots as often there would be many others in the area who would want to take their picture in the same spot as u. Oh well, guess that's one of the difference between National Parks and Cities :)

Can u see all the people in the background? It took us some effort before we could have the area clear for us to take our photos ;p

So...can you make out who's foot imprint we have in front of us? ;p
PS: For those of u who know me well enough, it's one of my favourite disney characters..;)

After all the "jostling for the perfect Kodak Spot" with our fellow tourists, who are mostly of Asian descent like us, we headed off for Pasadena. For the guys, it would be to look for their friends, for me and Carol, it would be to get to know new friends :)

My first and only Karaoke Session in the US with 2 of my travelmates and with my 2 new found friends. ;)
My first karaoke session in a long long time as well, hadn't had time for that in the final half of my last semester in Uni amidst the exams and final year projects ;p
Gotta confess that I was really impressed with the selection of songs that they have over here in the States. Pretty updated! Much better than the karaoke lounge that I went to in another Western Country ;)
