Death Valley National Park
Sand Dunes
The shifting patterns of Sand Dunes can be seen here. Great piles of sand, some as high as 24m (a pity we didn't have time to go that far)are continuously sculpted by the wind.

"Trying to balance ourselves on the uneven ground. Decked out in full gear to guard against the sun. Sunblock, hat, sunglasses and cardigan/windbreaker to protect the shoulders and arms, and jeans to protect the legs!! "

Artist's Drive & Artist's Palette
Artist's Drive is a one way loop which is approximately 11km long. Artist's Drive and Artist's Palette are so termed due to the coloured rocks and formations that we got to see in the surrounding landscape. Such unique colouration is due to the various mineral pigments found in the surrounding volcanic deposits such as mica and various salts.

Golden Canyon Trail
Golden Canyon showcases the effects of water on arid land. The trail is 3.2 km long with a 91m elevation change and is dotted with twisting narrows and colourful rock formations. "Although elevation gains are gradual and steady, as the ground is rocky and uneven, lots of care is often required while walking. Temperatures are high and the heat can get rather unbearable, leaving one rather lethargic."

| Can u see me?? ;P | "A mini showcase of some of the antics that C& I were up to, while waiting in the shade for the guys to come back from the trail :P A pity some of the more interesting pictures cannot be shown, due to failure to obtain clearance from personnel involved :P" |

Las Vegas
"Gradually, we moved out of Death Valley National Park and proceeded onwards to Las Vegas. As the sun sets, it got cooler and more bearable. We finally arrived in Las Vegas at night. The view of LV from a distance at night was absolutely breath-taking. LV was brillantly lit, a shimmering city under the cover of the night sky. The blue laser beam that emits from Luxor further illminates the night. This was definitely an unbelievable sight." Simply Unforgettable
