I would *LOVE* to be able to post parts of my novels up, but it would be to hard to have to explain it all. So here are some of the best poems I've ever written and a little story about them. I really hope you like them!
Just click on the title, and you mgiht have to scroll down.
This one I wrote in 6th grade, based on a true story. Last year it was admitted to my school's literary magazine. As an epilogue, I would just like to state that "Amy" and I still live across the street from each other, "Harry" and I will never stop hating each other, and "Rachel" and "Hannah" are TOTAL BEEP
Like the first one, I wrote it in 6th grade, when I really hated my life. I don't anymore, but then . . .Well, THAT'S another story. Anyway, I originally wanted a poem about how much I hate change, but it slowly evolved into a poem about memories.
Ah, my "Linda Eder Poem". This one's pretty resent. Originally, the "Too" had a very possitive meaning. "Linda Eder got it and I'll get it too" but now it's not. This one's the one my bestfriend said is the best.
This one's another resent one. It's the story about what happens to the girl everyone picks on. The moral of the story is that if you want change, and fame, and sucess, you have to reach for it.
This one was the hardest to write.I have two really close bestfriends. One of them got sick, and I really wanted to write a poem about it, to dedicate to them. "Amy" had been an important part of my life when I wrote that peom, and so "Oscar" needed a poem to. " 'Oscar' " isn't really the name, but for privacy, that's what it is here.

Jack Murphy's Corner
One day my English teacher passed out papers about a state literary contest. It could be anything artsy, but it had to do with the theme of "I hold in my hand . . ." I decided to write this narrative poem. I really hope you like it, because it means a lot to me. It's a mix of Linda Eder's journey to stardom, and my dreams. I hold in my hand the Golden Star.

Before these evil shadows fell I reveled in the light of day I rarely ever cried My patients wasnt tried And heroes never died But if I had my way This would be different Danger wouldnt come from a sky of blue Choices would be clear Strangers would be kinder Love a little blinder as it saved the day If I had my way -"If I Had my Way"
Jack Murphy is the lyricist that works most with Frank Wildhorn. He writes the lyrics on Linda Eder's solo albums and he wrote the lyrics to "The Civil War." He's GREAT!
This poem was seriously written on the spur of the moment. It was for the Linda Eder Message Board, and it ended-up serving a different purpose then it was written for. I really hope you like it; it got rav. reviews (heehee)
