"What Amy Didn't Know"
Friends are there forever, Or at least they're supposed to be. Friends don't tease or hurt each other. I guess no one ever told Amy. All through first, second, third, forth, We played like careless children. Then one day, that awful day, it happened. Amy grew up. It was winter and she was sledding with Harry, And they kissed. It was then Amy crossed over, girl to teen. She left me behind. Amy was then my enemy. Whatever I had, she wanted, And got. I guess no one ever told her stealing was bad. Amy became one of them, with the "Popular" crowd. Her new friends were Hannah and Rachel. They didn't need me. They didn't want me. I'll never again have a friend like Amy. I'll never want anyone but her, the old her. I'll never forgive Harry and Hannah, And I'll never ever forget Amy, The old Amy, my friend Amy. Oh, Harry, Hannah, Rachel: Did you have to change her? I can never forgive or forget. Oh Amy, don't you want me? Will you ever be mine again? What happened to those carefree children, And those warm summer days? I guess no one ever told you That my friends should never change.
"Remember"
Some change is good, But most is bad. You don't want to forget, But you do. The summer days, The friends, the laughter. All forgotten, not on purpose. Will you forget me too? I won't forget you. Through the years, I will remember. Will you? Never again will things be the same. Remeber all you can, or else regret for all eternity. Love lasts, pictures, names. But you will forget. Will you forget me? Try not to, please. We will meet again. someday, somehow. Will you remember? I will.
